About:
Ever since last year’s homecoming dance, best friends-turned-best enemies Zorie and Lennon have made an art of avoiding each other. It doesn’t hurt that their families are the modern day, Californian version of the Montagues and Capulets.
But when a group camping trip goes south, Zorie and Lennon find themselves stranded in the wilderness. Alone. Together.
What could go wrong?
With no one but each other for company, Zorie and Lennon have no choice but to hash out their issues via witty jabs and insults as they try to make their way to safety. But fighting each other while also fighting off the forces of nature makes getting out of the woods in one piece less and less likely.
And as the two travel deeper into Northern California’s rugged backcountry, secrets and hidden feelings surface. But can Zorie and Lennon’s rekindled connection survive out in the real world? Or was it just a result of the fresh forest air and the magic of the twinkling stars?(Goodreads)

Review:
This was a cute, sweet, fun read! It’s one of those books that are perfect for a quick summer read. I loved the National Park backdrop for the story, and all the adventures that came with it. The so called teen “friends” in the story are annoying characters (who leaves people in the middle of the woods without a way home?), but they do move the plot along. Our main characters Zorie and Lennon are characters that “normal” teens will relate to. You’ll find yourself rooting for them to be together pretty much from the start. I loved all the moms in the book. They’re hard working and brave. The dad on the other hand was…let’s face it…scum! There is a hint of Romeo and Juliet with the whole waring family plot and teen romance bridging the two families but that’s about as far as that goes. There are no deaths (well two characters mentioned in the book are dead before the book picks up but I don’t count that). Zorie and Lennon do not have to attempt to die or fake their deaths to get the families back on good terms. This book is really just a happy romance with some bumps along the way. The is a lot of sex in this book. It’s the typical YA cut out scenes but it’s definitely there… a lot. Lennon’s moms own a sex toy shop that is brought up right from the start of the book. The sex in this book was shown in a positive, healthy and consensual way though, which was really refreshing. Give this book to older teens who are looking for a summer romance/adventure read! They’ll gobble it up!
